Independence Day: 15 August 2023;
Independence Day, 15 August is the day when India got it's freedom from Britisher's 200 years of rule after a long struggle and sacrifices of thousands of lives of its peoples and leaders. It is mainly celebrated at Red Fort, where government officials, ministers, students, indian force's personals gather to address the speech and words from prime minister. India will celebrate it's 77th Independence Day on 15 August 2023.
Theme For This Years:
The theme for this years's Independence Day celebration is ''Nation First, Always First'' as a part of the wider Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
President's and PM's Speech:
President Droupadi Murmu will address the nation on the eve of the 77th Independence Day on August 14 from 7 pm and Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi will address the nation on 15 August from 7am from Rampart of Red Fort.
Special Guests At Red Fort:
Indian government has invited many special indivisuals from different fields of life to take part in flag hoisting ceremony for this Independence Day celebration. It has Sarpanches from Indian villages, teachers, nurses, fishermen and labrours. As a part of this American politician also visit India to take part in the flag hoisting ceremony.
The US Congress delegation will be led by RO Khanna and Congressman Michael Waltz, Deborah, Ross, Kat Cammack, Shri Thanedar, Jasmine Crockett, Rich McCormick and Ed Case.
This Independence Day celebration will be grand as India is also celebrating 75 years of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
